Whitelands local area

The picturesque Cotswold town of Tetbury is steeped in history, with its 17th Century Market House taking pride of place in the centre of the town. In the surrounding streets you’ll find a variety of independent traders including a family butchers, cheesemongers and a shop selling produce from Prince Charles’s nearby Highgrove estate. In addition to a large number of antique shops there’s also an excellent choice of local bars, cafes and restaurants. There’s plenty to see and do in the area as well. Westonbirt National Arboretum is around four miles* away providing picturesque walks throughout the year plus regular events including the annual Forest Live music shows. The town itself has a food and drink festival as well as its popular Wacky Races soapbox race which takes place every May. There’s a primary and secondary school in the town, with further education options available 10 miles away at Cirencester College.
