If your window is loose, rattly, or drafty, you may need to adjust the window latch.

Step by step: adjust your window latch

  1. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to remove the screw cover on the window handle
  2. Locate the screw that needs tightening and turn it clockwise
  3. Open the handle to expose another screw underneath and repeat step 2
  4. Replace the screw cover by pushing it back in.

If you don't feel confident about fixing your window latch safely, please ask for help from a competent person. If you’re a Bromford customer, you can request a repair.
