These Shared Ownership homes have been specifically built to meet the needs of local people and priority will be given to applicants who have a connection to Stratford-upon-Avon District Council.
The local area connection is based on you having been a resident (or employed within) the area for a number of years (usually between 2-5) or have family connections – for example, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild or adult sibling – who have lived in the area for at least three years.
Staircasing to own 100% of your home at Tudor Gate
Our homes at Tudor Gate are available to purchase from 25% to 75% shared ownership. Once your home is purchased you will have the option to increase the amount you own in your shared ownership home. This is called Staircasing. The greater the share you buy in your home the less rent you will pay. Ultimately staircasing to buy 100% of your home, means you become an outright owner, and will no longer need to pay rent.

The traditional market town has over 800 years of history and is synonymous with being the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
