 Thank you for completing the initial steps in order to apply for a shared ownership property.

The next step requires you to complete the form below, please have copies of the following documentation ready to upload at the end of the form:

Mortgage applications - If your application is in joint names we will require the following documents for both parties:

  • 1 form of photographic identification (passport, photocard driving licence) 
  • 1 form of non-photographic ID (Council tax bill, driving licence, bank statement, utility bill etc) 
  • Help to Buy Agent application number 
  • Full mortgage illustration/key facts document. This must also include your current address – this is not the mortgage promise - and if applicable, loan amount, repayment period, repayment method, estimated valuation of property, interest rate, monthly repayment.  
  • Your current landlord name and address (if applicable)  
  • Proof of savings 
  • 3 months bank statements 

If you do not require a mortgage and are purchasing the share with cash, please provide the following documents: 

  • 1 form of photographic identification (passport, photocard driving licence) 
  • 1 form of non-photographic ID (Council tax bill, driving licence, bank statement, utility bill etc) 
  • Help to Buy Agent application number 
  • Proof of funds available to purchase the share 
  • Proof of income (last 3 months’ payslips for all employment) 
  • Last 3 months’ bank statements for ALL accounts 
  • Loan agreements 
  • Latest credit card statement for all accounts  

Loan/gift - If funds are provided as a loan or gift, please provide the following documents:

  • A photocopy of a photographic driving license or passport of the person giving you the money  
  • Certified to be a true copy of the original seen by me’ on the document signing and dating it, printing their name under the signature and adding their occupation, address and telephone number 
  • A letter from the person loaning or gifting the money to you confirming the loan or gift, the nature of their relationship with you, and their full contact details.

Please note that we will be unable to provide consent to your purchase of the above property until we receive the above documentation and this completed form. For this form, you will also need to provide: proof of identity (both photo and non photo ID), evidence of funds e.g. bank statements, proof of savings, credit card statements for all accounts, proof of income, letter from those providing loan or gift.
