Southlands

We have plans to redevelop four non-traditional properties in Southlands, Tytherington.

The properties were built in the post war period as a quick solution to the housing shortage at the time. But over the years their condition has deteriorated and they are increasingly expensive to heat. We want to take the opportunity to redevelop these properties and build modern, energy efficient homes to replace them.

Ahead of submitting a planning application for the site we've been working with South Gloucestershire Council and the local parish council to carry out a housing needs survey so we can assess what the level of demand is for new housing in the village. We are continuing to assess the site for its suitability and in 2022 are continuing to carry out surveys of the site.
